This case has striking parallels to George Floyd β except Henry Nowak was entirely innocent, and the institutional response has been the inverse.
The "I can't breathe" echo alone should demand accountability. Yet the British government took the knee for a career criminal with a documented history of violence, allowed BLM riots and protests while locking down the rest of the country, and engineered policy changes in his name.
For an innocent 18-year-old white boy who actually died in police custody while saying those same words? The government's line is that two-tier policing doesn't exist, and anyone suggesting it does is beyond the pale.
The hypocrisy is structural and deliberate.
David Lammy has spent days denouncing J.D. Vance's comments on the Nowak case. Worth noting: Labour sent over 100 operatives to the United States during the presidential campaign to support Kamala Harris's election. Interference in foreign elections is apparently fine when it's in service of the preferred candidate. Commentary on a domestic tragedy is apparently unforgivable.
The most damning part of this whole affair is that international media β Washington, Rome, Australia β has taken this case more seriously than the British government has. That tells you everything about where institutional priorities actually lie.
It sent chills through me watching that. Everything was so wrong and they were all acting like they didn't have a care in the world. Poor Henry π I'd love to think this would force the desperate changes needed, but this government is willfully blind and deaf to the demands of the people.....
And then the police were prepared to release a statement - in the MIDDLE of stabby boyβs trial, nothing like jury tampering, right? - stating that Henry Nowak, the VICTIM, was actually the aggressor.
They were prepared, I should say positively salivating at the opportunity, to smear the good name of a dead, blameless boy, to save their own worthless asses.
So please donβt say βitβs all trainingβ or βtheyβre not psychoβsβ especially when we all saw the footage of six or seven of them dragging a man off a wall and beating him with riot shields and kicking him in the head. They could easily have killed him and they looked like they were really enjoying it.
The police officers at the scene did not know that the stab wounds killed Henry. They disregarded his please for help. Their actions made things much worse for Henry and could have precipitated his death, certainly did not help him and they should be held accountable for this appalling behaviour.
Justice and righteousness should be upheld and must prevail, Regardless of race creed or colour, because murder murder is murder and violence is violence!!
There should be absolute no partiality shown by the police force in favour of race, creed or colour.
The murder of this defenseless young man, reflects the absolute hypocrisy and travesty of Britain's government's proud boast of equality for all!! this is simply not true. Truth has fallen in our streets!
Isaiah. 59: 14; justice is turned back and righteousness stands far off;
For truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

Nah.
F**k the police.

The actions of the Police, the perpetrator and his family were pure evil. What chance did this poor innocent boy have. Utterly evil and shameful.

Excellent analysis and summation of the facts π
Thank you.
So Henry Nowak was a paid actor who just pretended to be dead? Oh do take a flying leap!
I hope not many are dumb enough to believe that!
Things I'm responding to keep disappearing. Did you see it?
I donβt remember what he called us both in the next comment but was more severe than gullible π€£
Oh yes but he started name calling.. so I got rid. are my commenting rules showing up?
How do I add those?
