Terrifyingly apt. We, British patriots, cannot survive another 3 years of this Labour government. There will be nothing left of our once great country, being ruined on a daily basis. Is there no one of honour in this country’s establishment who will stand up and be counted, stand up and defend the majority population of Britain from the evil of this current Labour government. We need a principled version of ‘Gina’, the wealthy lawyer who took Boris to Court…..someone who knows all of the levers to pull to defenestrate the entire Labour benches and push for a new election NOW. This government is in power by default….it has ignored all manifesto promises and continues to attempt to force us back into the EU without another referendum and ignore Parliamentary democracy….running the country as a dictatorship…and all with a mandate formed by votes of just 20% of the electorate. The official opposition party are complicit in many of the anti democratic laws being put in place….they truly are the UniParty, whatever they may say to try to appease the public. The Party with the maximum support in the country has, by a twist of the FPTP voting system, just 8 MP’s - despite massive support in the country. The whole system is bent in such a way that our country is dying before our eyes - killed by a bunch of socialist nonentities with a proven useless ideology……and strangely enough these front bench ministers who spout socialism are extremely wealthy people who have no concern for working people whatsoever - unless of course they are working for the State. The sickness in this country starts at the top and it needs to be removed by any means possible.

The only antidote to Fabianism is contained in a book published in 1962: "Capitalism and Freedom" by Milton Friedman.

Wonderful piece - very well written. I remember reading Wigan Pier about 30 years ago, but even then was chilled by the latter part, as it was already clear which direction the EU was taking us in.

I'm one of those guilty of not finishing The Road to Wigan Pier. Often think about it when I drive past past the sign (Wigan Pier)on the M61. I was more focused on when he was living with the mining community, having grown up in county Durham. It was my third book of Orwell having read 1984 and Animal Farm prior to it. I loved them books but didn't grasp the nettle with Wigan Pier.

I was a lot younger then and couldn't of imagined I'd actually be living in "1984".

We need these Liebour loonies out Now and outlaw the Fabian society along with Muslim brotherhood.

Thanks for this piece, it's brilliant.

I have believed for years that Orwell was trying to warn people with this book about labour that started so full,of hope for so many would turn into our worst nightmare I think he was trying to also warn the then Labour Party about the aims of the Fabian society but it was already to late they were blinded to the inherent evil that is embedded in the Fabian society they’re not interested in helping the people of this country. They only want to dominate us and fill their bank accounts because they will never practice what they preach every school child should read this book. they should be made to they need to understand that while they started with the very best of intentions to improve life for the working classes it was hijacked and bent to the wheel of others..

Yeah whether Orwell or Huxley you have to question if they were visionaries or prophets of a kind. Not in the religious sense.

The Fabian strategy was never just to infect one party and liberal elite on all sides have been corrupted to some extent, I’m talking Thatcher as well, the latest incarnation here as a “think tank” is just the tip of course but it spread out globally, it changes names and so on to hide its communist goals, politically through education its captured all the institutions as planned but it turns out a load of wealthy, work shy intellectuals are really good at costing money but know shag all about making it. They fucked up massively with their eugenics and left us with no next generation and they think they can control the Muslims (this time) because the Fabian’s have no beliefs outside of their right to control society the Fabian’s may have actually met their match in Islam tho and have probably been infiltrated themselves and are at this moment being progressively taken over.

Why has no Government not supportive of this organisation criminalised its members. They openly operate to subvert the democratic running of this country. It has to be remembered that organisations, who on the surface operate as peaceful, have been you might say outlawed. The most recent being Palestine Action.

Could it be no Government has outlawed the Fabian Society because they share the same goals as political Parties supportive of them.

Sara's avatar

Personally have come to the conclusion the Fabian Society include all of them. Note how Andrew Bridgen has been warning how bad Westminster as a whole is - no one listened, even mocked him!

Remember Bliar has had plenty of time to push this cult around the world stage, and returned to, he thought, get back into power - he and his government Set in process this dark system, a true reflection of them all.

Whether anyone likes it or not ultimately this is a battle between good and evil. How do I know I hear you say - because I have been researching evil all my life, AND a favourite trick of Satanism is INVERSION if care to check out it's meaning.

Remember Satan was and always will be the Master Trickster, of Inversion, pain, suffering, blood sacrafice (eg wars they are it's favourite because so many die at once and for as long as they can keep it up - you all know where and who is pushing it).

Thanks, I think it was around 2 weeks ago when Jacob Rees-Mogg when he was complimenting Bliar on his critisim of Starmer's Net Zero agenda and mass migration policy and I think he, and some others, said he has become Conservative. Total nonsense! J R-M, totally supported Bojo's mass migration policy. This policy plus his comments on Bliar, seem very Fabian to me and I think maybe you're right.

A bracing piece — and the surveillance, protest, and language strands are documented, not rhetorical. But I'd offer a structural caution drawn from a recent post of mine, which read Orwell's Oceania not as a portrait of Stalinism but as a correction of it: a regime engineered to fix the flaw that destroyed the Soviet system.

https://substack.com/@johnsdynamics/note/p-199299758?r=374xxu&utm_source=notes-share-action&utm_medium=web

That flaw was control exerted only at the level of expression. Stalin sealed off what people could say while leaving grievance intact to accumulate — which is why the system looked permanent and then broke open the moment the pressure eased. Oceania's innovation was to move control upstream, to the formation of grievance itself: the telescreen, Newspeak, the rewritten past.

Here's the test the model suggests for "fixing the foundations" Britain.

Surveillance vans and protest law are expression-level instruments — the Stalinist kind, which suppress without resolving, and which leave the reservoir filling. They are coercive, but they are also the brittle kind of control. The genuinely Orwellian move would be the upstream one: shaping what can be perceived and said before dissent forms. A managed phrase that makes disagreement sound unreasonable gestures at that level; facial-recognition vans do not.

So the warning holds, but invert its comfort. The harder a state leans on the expression-level tools, the more it resembles Stalin — and Stalin's architecture failed. The boot does not stamp forever. Orwell put the ending in a tense.

Add this to the mix and needs to be acted on.

This is one of the most important things to keep on top of, and it is deadly serious because the globalist Epstein cabal are part of its roll out!

STOP using technogy to run our lives especially when it comes to money - always use cash! That keeps them at bay.

I could argue that the Fabians have never been socialist. Neither they nor current Labour represents the working class. Note: Newspeak ‘Working people’. George Orwell was a patriotic socialist patriotic Englishman who stood alongside Spanish Republicans and Northern English, and prophetically publicized the horrors of totalitarianism.

It is not only Labour which fails to represent the electorate: successive Conservatives governments failed, Reform is unlikeable, Greens unspeakable, Liberals superficial.

A characteristic of the Starmer government is that no-one knows their principles (none?), they avoid recognition of ills, and are failed administrators of a remote high tax & spend state which helps few. A plague on them, but who else? This is what may lead to total totalitarianism.

100% well said.

Lots of people love Reform. The problem is that they too represent their billionaire paymasters. People are so busy screaming about immigrants that they apparently haven't noticed that Reform stand for privatising the NHS, cutting minimum wages and employment protections etc. I have to admit to being baffled by people placing their trust in the rich, but we watched it happen with Trump and we see it with Farage. Facts are fake news and cognitive dissonance is riding the country, as evidenced by flag wearing "patriots" going for curries and kebabs, hot on the heels of calling for all immigrants to be repatriated.

Sara's avatar

Specifically the illegals and sword brandishing savagery which is a criminal offence in this country but only for the indigenous people of the U! Though if any care to look at NI it should be obvious that weapons can be acquired no matter what

.

Way too many tricks are being played to divide and conquer. That also includes using immigrants as a tool to foment problems meaning using them as bait. Not just the UK, it's the EU who are the core of this and the rest of the West with their premeditated roll out of DEI.

David Gregory's avatar

Disinformation. Reform have never said they will privatise the NHS. Selling off and outsourcing departments was started by Blair and if you care to check out this government’s recently published paper you will see they have abolished NHS England and are centralising healthcare. Take your lies elsewhere
