Great stuff. What I'm noticing is commentators likening Reform to UKIP who surged and fell away. Inferring a flash in the pan protest. The fact is UKIP turned into the Brexit Party and delivered the biggest political earthquake in British political history, Brexit. Farage’s credentials should be measured by that operation. People are trusting Reform UK to turn the country around. They see nobody else who can do it. I saw that leftist twit Jim Dale on talk this morning activating his coping mechanism, “only 26% voted Reform so 74% didn't vote for them”. Thats such a retarded view of the situation and a massive exercise in gaslighting. These elections show Reform UK is now a trusted and electable party with a rock solid base. It wasn't a rejection of Keir Starmer, or even the Labour Party but the entire political establishment.
Reform UK won more than 1420 or so council seats, they won credibility and gravitas. This was a big step forward. It now gives voters the confidence to go and support Reform, they have become the biggest party in Britain today.
I have zero doubt that come a general election voters will choose Reform over the Con-Lab uniparty. Not as a protest, but as a rejection. And as an overwhelming desire to bring Britain back to being great again.
Thanks John and thanks the author from Inside Britain
It is hard to decipher from here in Oslo. The British are now inveterate liars it is hard to know what is what. So thank you for your overview.
If rather see Reform have more representation in Parliament. That the by far most supported party has but 6 seats and a soap box is simply not democracy
Brilliant article here!!! You really explained some difficult facts and results beautifully! You have articulated the situation and more importantly what needs to be done going forward! Well said, and well done!!! Thanks for this! 👍
A very good analysis of what happened at the local elections. Currently you are one of the best commentators on the British political scene.
I think you have intelligemtly highlighted:
1) how the polital elite are still burying their heads in the sand;
2) how the new Reform councillors must perform well now they have been elected into office; and
3) how Reform must stay united and on message. Nigel Farage stated this very clearly at the end of his victory speech, when he quoted the founder of the Reform party in Canada that any arguments you have must remain behind closed doors and a united front must be shown in public.
But overall I think we have seen the British public - excluding the hardcore Leftist types (both white and minority) - react against political ideology that has been ruining the country. We are waking up to a country that now has hope once again, and where we can truly start to believe we are getting closer to a right wing government.
You are entitled to your opinion. However, forgive me if I don't take the opinion of anyone who appears to be a socialist, anti-Semite that hates Farage, seriously.
I hope every councillor realizes just how much responsibility they have now. No scandals, no inaction, no getting off-message. Keep their noses clean. Don’t go soft. Stay in the public eye. And for God’s sake, do not give any ground, no matter what deals they think they can make, they have to stick to the reform line. You don’t win the next election by appearing to turning into your opponent.
Another insightful article - Reform now have a golden opportunity to change the system and it will be a difficult task going forward - and that is what the team that Nigel has been picked to do.
The election results were the equivalent of citizens throwing open the windows and allowing the breeze and sun of freedom back in. You are correct that the hard work of righting the ship locally is a first priority for Reform. The following can be the expected reaction of Labour and the Tories: A doubling down of rhetoric, aided by MSM, along with encouragement of the bureaucracies to independently push forward with aligned regulations. This continued fight holds the future of Reform and any aligned Parties in its hands. The short term results will determine who is correct about the Party’s victory and future. I’m praying this is not a one shot win.
….meant only to last long enough for him to get through this weekend and into next week’s news cycle, where some other story can be relied on to absorb the establishment’s attention….’
Like an analysis of the outcome of The Ukrainian rent boy’s arson trial.
(3 rent boys have been accused of arson attacks on Starmer’s properties) 🧐

That's why the local elections yesterday were so important for the next G.E.
Got 8 seats now with defectors from the Conservative party.

Rubbish. You just hate Reform.
Similar situation in Staffordshire

Maybe 🤔, calling people Super Far Right Mega Nazi’s for having a different opinion isn’t the win they think it is?
Great article, thanks! B

The veil is well and truely lifted.

It’s time for proportional representation.
And, don't forget Wales.
