Yes, you are right here. Although I like Restore's policies it hasn't got a hope in hell of winning a General Election and here's why.

In the 2024 General Election I stood for the SDP - it has an excellent policy agenda that I fully aligned with. The problem was that when out canvassing no-one had heard of the party or its leader William Clouston and there was also no money available for a widescale mailshot etc. As you say, Restore might be known to the internet polically savvy crowd but it will not register with those who are not. Also, its policies will only restrict it to a very specific group of voters.

The only party now with the nationwide profile to kick out the uniparty is Reform. It also has a financing model that will enable it to adequately finance the parliamentary candidates in the 2029 General Election.

Nigel Farage has a high political profile - he has been on the British political scene for a very long time - and I hope to see him occupying No. 10 and he and his Cabinet team getting our country back on track.

I like their policies too obviously since they are 99% the Same as Reform UK

Yes a very strong cross-over. I think Reform UK cherrypicked one or two, but at least they will now be put before the mainstream electorate instead of remaining buried in SDP documentation.

Few I actually know have ever heard of Rupert Lowe or Restore.

When he doesn’t speak out against his people calling Ben Habib names like that he seems complicit whether he is or not

Dan Wootton. I have watched him over the past few weeks and he constantly attacks Reform Party but pushes Rupert Lowe and Ben Hibib. But he also says. He has nothing against other than Nigel Farage. Dan has not changed since his time in the media. Choosing the big story.

And then he says Reform people won’t go on his show cuz they don’t want hard questions. I wouldn’t go in his show either if them. No spin no bias my foot

You’re re polling in the mid to low 20s now. If you’re not worried you should be.

Inside Britain's avatar

A poll this week 30% they are still ahead and have been polling for 20 months not two they were bound to pique. 2 months is laughable. Boy what sore losers aren’t you embarrassed after two months???

Tim Howard's avatar

“A poll this week”.

You’re losing ground. Not just my opinion but the pollsters.

Learn objectivity. It’s how you avoid losing.

Inside Britain's avatar

It’s such an immature response. My post is not about Reform. Keep to the subject.

Tim Howard's avatar

If it wasn’t about polling why did you reply?

The simple truth is that you don’t want to deal with reality. Not a mature position to take in my view.

LOL. If only Restore and Lowe were what you're implying. It's just more divisive Kabuki Theatre.

Inside Britain's avatar

Facts speak for themselves. But Restore Britain supporters dislike facts and truth. Everything in that post is verifiable.

And please don’t accuse us of being divisive when it was Lowe that started it all with his lies about what actually happened with Reform UK and him.

You are only saying that now Restore have tanked 🤣

John Pate's avatar

Why would I give a sh*t about Restore - if Lowe gained power he would stab his supporters in the back the nanosecond their backs were turned just like every other populist leader has. Lowe can run his mouth off with all his nonsense precisely because he knows he'll never have to deliver on anything he's said. How's MAGA going for you, enjoying the war from the peace President?

Inside Britain's avatar

Well then you have nothing of use to add this thread. So I will leave it there

I think it was the right thing to do personally, especially after the Regime massacred 50,000 of its own people. When one thinks that Iran and its proxies have been the cause of almost all the death and destruction in the Middle East in recent times.

Sarah's avatar

I agree there, but, then, what is the point of having a Political Party and getting into wrangles with Reform?

Inside Britain's avatar

I'm not sure I am getting your point even though you have said it three times.

Sarah's avatar

Yes, Rupert Lowe is a divisive figure, constantly attacking Reform. What good does that do, other than cause unnecessary division? The 'Progressives' don't waste their time attacking each other because their main concern is the issues, however ludicrous.

Inside Britain's avatar

I don't disagree with his policies since they are 99% the same as Reform. he currently has four percent of the vote which is enough to damage Reform. But he lost half his polling in the first month so I believe he would just die a death that way the only ones continuing to support him will be the Neo nazis
